Wildflower Romance for Type and Title

December 13, 2016

Back in the spring of this year, we had the pleasure of shooting the lookbook for Type and Title’s launch of her re-brand. We could not be more thrilled with how these photos turned out! More from Maggie of Type and Title:

“About a year ago I started pursuing a new vision for my custom invitation studio, Type & Title — an online wedding shop where modern & design-minded brides could easily find beautiful pieces for their wedding. Almost right away I started dreaming & planning for the launch shoot! We were so lucky to put together a dream team of San Diego wedding pros to execute our vision. It was important to us to provide direction and then let our vendors exercise their creative brilliance. It led to an incredible day of creative freedom and true partnership!

Our inspiration was a romantic, feminine bride with free-spirit impulses — minimal and bright, sentimental and easygoing. She’s design-minded and cares about details, but doesn’t stress out so much about her wedding that she forgets to enjoy the moment. I gave our florist Jill of Layered Vintage the phrase “wildflower romantic” and as usual she hit it out of the park. Amanda of Thorne Artistry gave our model Sadie the perfectly undone, romantic hair and makeup to compliment her Sarah Seven gown from The Dress Theory. Aly of Sitting in a Tree brought in tabletop goods from Hostess Haven (who always seems to have exactly what you need for any given party) and styled our goods to perfection. Audrey Alba Films’ video gave all our creative work movement in a perfectly sentimental video, and of course Jackie and Matt of Whiskers & Willow photographed every detail beautifully, mastering some tricky lighting situations to pull two totally different locations together into a cohesive look.

We are just smitten with how the contrast of moody and airy have come together to showcase this free-spirited and romantic shoot.”
